Mary

When visited by the angel Gabriel, Mary said yes to God’s plan for her to give birth to Jesus. In fact, the Bible tells us that Mary was “highly favored.” What does it mean to be highly favored by God? For Mary, it certainly didn’t mean that she had a comfortable or easy life.
